The 2024 WorldSkitest has been suspended, so there are no results. Nevertheless, we don't want to withhold the latest models from the ski industry and present the new products to you.
What characterises these touring models?
With a centre width of 91 to 97 mm, the models in the Touring Men 2 category are the perfect choice for demanding adventures in alpine terrain. These skis offer an ideal balance between flotation in powder snow and versatility on hard surfaces.
Due to their relatively low weight, they save energy on the ascent. These models are light and offer optimum power transmission. Nothing stands in the way of a casual descent in terms of material.
If you are travelling off the secured pistes, you need to be particularly well prepared for the upcoming tour. In addition to careful route planning, you need to regularly check the weather forecast and avalanche status. The right self-assessment and the respective level of experience must also be taken into account and ideally you should complete an avalanche training course. Your avalanche rucksack should also be properly packed, including a functioning avalanche transceiver, shovel and probe.
On days when you are not quite sure which route to take, always choose the safer option for your own safety.
