Black skis - 10 brands - tester mix

Dear skiers, freeriders & touring skiers!

WorldSkitest 2025/26 as a guest in the Heiligenblut National Park region in Carinthia

In the last week of March, we hosted the WorldSkitest in Heiligenblut for the third time and once again it was a complete success.

This year, all three ski tests - AlpineSkitest with YouthSkitest, FreerideSkitest and TouringSkitest - were held in the Hohe Tauern National Park region.

The perfect cooperation with the team from Carinthian Tourism, the National Park Region, the Großglockner Mountain Railways, the Heiligenblut Tourist Board and the ‘House of Ibex’ as well as the partner hotels Lärchenhof & National Park Lodge contributed significantly to the success of the event.

The region in front of the Großglockner presented itself from its best side and the Großglockner itself showed itself again and again in its majestic splendour.

The motivated testers - international journalists, amateur skiers and active and former professional skiers such as Daniel Danklmaier (ÖSV Speedteam), world champion Nicole Schmidhofer, team world champion Eva Maria Brem, Olympic champion Fritz Strobl, world champion Hannes Reichelt, world champion Manfred Pranger, team double world champion Philipp Schörghofer and Olympic bronze medallist Jure Kosir - were delighted with the fantastic piste conditions.

The freeriders even enjoyed fresh snow and tested the black neutralised models for the coming winter season in glorious powder snow.

The evening events at the ‘House of Ibex’ - including a guided tour of the exhibition - were a special highlight for everyone.

On Friday, the YouthSkitest, in which motivated young testers from the Heiligenblut region scrutinised the skis, was a successful conclusion.

The enthusiasm was palpable on all 3 test days and all participants took Heiligenblut home with fond memories and great experiences.

The results of the WorldSkitest will be published in the national and international media and on the website www.worldSkitest.com at the start of the World Cup season in Sölden.

What makes the WorldSkitest so informative for consumers?
The black taped skis eliminate brand preference.
The colourful and varied mix of testers with different skiing abilities and different demands on the test skis increases the significance of the results.
The wide variety of ski models:
7 alpine categories
2 freeride categories
2 touring categories
covers a huge range.

With sporting greetings

Yours
