Precision. Dynamism. Maximum performance.
The slalom models are still considered the sporty flagship of skiing – highly precise, equipped with World Cup-proven technology and very similar in performance to the skis used by professionals. Although they have been toned down somewhat compared to the purebred World Cup skis, the series models still demand stable technique, a lot of power and good physical condition from the skier.
Anyone choosing these skis should know what they are getting into: short, aggressive radii, explosive turns and impressive smoothness at high speeds. These skis are clearly unsuitable for beginners – we are talking about sporty to highly athletic skiers and racers who throw themselves into the slopes with full concentration and technique.

At this year's World Ski Test, conducted on the closed, perfectly groomed WST test track amid the breathtaking mountain scenery of Heiligenblut and with a view of the majestic Großglockner, the standard of the participating models in the supreme discipline was once again extremely high. Two models, the Atomic Redster S9 and the Salomon S/Race SL Pro, achieved the rating "excellent". The rest of the field shone with "very good" and "good" ratings – proof of the high quality in this class.
