OpenSpace 2011/12
Highlights, innovations, trends – or rather the future of the ski sport is being scrutinized by the WST-testers in the Open Space category. These models don´t fit into the usual test categories, the focus is the driving experience, the joy of skiing, the individuality and also the design. The Open Space is the only category in World Ski test that is not taped black. Since these models are completely different there is also no comparative ranking. The result of the testing gives a good overview of whether the individual skis are performing on the slopes as promised by the product-descriptions.

10 years WorldSkitest 10 - that's an impressive number. The WST has proven itself and has become a major international ski test. Also at the ski sector a lot has changed. The level has become higher, the brands are closer together and the quality of the skis is more then satisfactory.

I never thought that there are so many differences. My tip: The perfect ski is the one with which you do not waist too much energy, you have fun skiing and you get better from run to run. The WST is a great event and certainly a great help when considering buying skis.
