Ladies Allround 2009/10
Women are a mystery – inscrutable and hard to understand. But at least the ski industry seems to know, what women want as they seem to find the right answer to the high standards of the ski ladies year after year.

Skis have to be precise and stable, easy to handle and good to control – and of course, the design has to be just up to date, as cool as it comes and easy to match with the outfits.
All these factors were taken into consideration to offer the ladies a wide range of individual skis that are perfectly made for individual needs and demands. Unlike the race categories that are focused on speed and performance, the all-round category for ladies is based on comfort and pleasure to ski. Therefore the most important factors characterizing those skis are minimum general effort, high balance and easy turning. In addition their design is always something special and therefore a head turner for women and men alike.
So the definition for the winner in 2009/2010 was set: an eye catcher, easy to handle,
easy to carry and easy to match with up to date outfits. And of course, our test ladies, amongst others Andrea Haselmayer-Zanier, Ingrid Salvenmoser and Michaela Gerg-Leitner really did find the perfect “Ladies All-round Ski”.

10 years WorldSkitest 10 - that's an impressive number. The WST has proven itself and has become a major international ski test. Also at the ski sector a lot has changed. The level has become higher, the brands are closer together and the quality of the skis is more then satisfactory.

I never thought that there are so many differences. My tip: The perfect ski is the one with which you do not waist too much energy, you have fun skiing and you get better from run to run. The WST is a great event and certainly a great help when considering buying skis.

For me, the most important thing is the handling of the skis. When it comes to sales, design is also an important factor. I am also glad to see, that safety is an important issue with WST and almost everybody is wearing a helmet.
